The pastor here thinks that he is the god of the church. Apparently his wish is the congregation's command. The focus of worship should be Christ, not the opinions of a stubborn man who is afraid of the younger generation. This is very sad...because worship should be a joy, not a drawn-out, redundant sermon that leaves you wondering what was just said. And as a side note, prayers are not a race, you should be able to take a breath and contemplate what is being said.
